We’re back from Home Depot after quite the haul! I am still a little sick today, but I was well enough to make dinner and then make the shopping trip. Below is a picture of one of our carts. In the end, we left with three!!! But we got a discount again (10%!!! how did we get so lucky?!), so that was awesome.

By the way… that “badger” is a garbage disposal that we “impulse bought” for the kitchen after realizing that it makes sense to install that at the same time as we’re redoing the rest of the plumbing in the house. Kyle also impulse-bought in-floor heating for the bathroom. Good thing we’re still under budget on a few other things!

While we were waiting for our vanity to get pulled off the racks, I hung around the customer service desk. The guy there makes handmade roses out of ribbon, and he dumped a bag of them out on the counter and told me to pick one. There were so many to choose from, in so many colors! So I came home with this little beauty. 🙂

We didn’t even make it to Home Depot yesterday. I went to the gym for a quick workout and a shower, and Kyle went to his sister’s for a shower… and by the time we both got home and had eaten dinner, I was too exhausted to do anything.

So we’ll call yesterday a “sick day”. This cold has really gotten me! I feel pretty under the weather…. but I worked both yesterday and today anyway. And if I can do that, then I can make it through a Home Depot trip this evening!
