Phase one of the basement project is doubling up on living room furniture. New stuff upstairs, old stuff for the basement! So voilà! here is our improved upstairs living space.
The side tables are a different color than I expected. We have to decide if we want to paint them, or return them and find something else.
The other new pieces are the chair, the coffee tables, the basket of blankets, and the TV stand. We did the updating on a budget with ikea and target purchases. Fun to be able to get a brand new living room even if you can’t spend a bunch!
Weekend one of the project was fun! Next phase involves getting down and dirty in the basement… it may be slightly less fun than phase one. So who knows how quickly we’ll get around to it.
